Sluttr is built with consent and privacy at its core. 1:1 chats and shared media are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE); our servers relay ciphertext and limited metadata needed for delivery. We do not keep plaintext copies of your private conversations.

Information We Collect

• Account basics (email, handle, device records).
• Operational metadata (timestamps, delivery receipts).
• Public/profile content you choose to share.

How We Use Information

• Provide, secure, and improve the service.
• Prevent abuse and fraud (rate limits, referral integrity).
• Communicate updates you opt into.

Data Security

Messages/media are encrypted end-to-end. You can reset keys or request a mutual chat reset at any time. We apply standard safeguards (TLS, access controls, backups) for service availability.

Your Choices

• Reset Encryption Keys (deletes local data, rotates keys).
• Mutual Chat Reset (two-party delete of a conversation).
• Delete account (removes your profile and device records).
